The Business Unit in Alcorcon (Madrid), Spain, is a customer-focused manufacturing site which supplies a range of pharmaceutical product to a large number of global and local partners. Alcorcon is specialized in commercial manufacturing of a wide range of sterile dosage forms (injectable in ampoules and vials, lyophilization, multi-dose sterile liquids in nasal sprays and eye drops). Alcorcon also manufactures solid dose products, including high-potent solids produced in a segregated area. The site covers a total area of 31,500 m² of which 24,200 m² are constructed.
