This year, under the current restrictions due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, FAMAR was an Exhibitor of the virtual CPhI Festival of Pharma, which took place from 5 to 16 October 2020.
The virtual event provided the global pharma community with a platform to meet and exchange ideas, with more than 20,000 attendees, designed to meet the needs of the industry in 2021.
FAMAR presented to a global audience its manufacturing and development services to the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industry and committed to deliver innovative and accessible solutions for the improvement of patients’ and consumers’ lives, always next to its customers’ needs.
FAMAR’s CEO, Mr. Ian Cooper, dynamically participated during the 3rd day of the event through a podcast interview with subject “The CDMO Response to COVID-19”. As he stated “To be successful in today’s landscape, CDMOs more than ever, must provide flexibility, collaboration and innovation, which requires continuously evolving our capabilities to ensure a solid delivery of drug development and manufacturing services. CDMOs must be ready to take on new challenges, having the financial background that safeguards the fundamental investments that are essential in the business, while at the same time having the substantial amount of expertise and provide value-added benefits.”
